Job Prospects for Welfare Recipients: Employers Speak Out, Marsha Regenstein, Jack A. Meyer, and Jennifer Dickemper Hicks, Occasional Paper Number 10, prepared for and published by the Urban Institute, July 1998. Report on a national survey of 500 employers in industries likely to to significant numbers of entry-level workers to determine their practices and attitudes with respect to hiring welfare recipients.
